I dont know what to title this. I kinda want it to be something like “The flames engulfed her whole” but I cant decide if that sounds too emo…

It just looks like flames to me. It also looks like a female figure kneeling…

Need you like water in my lungs

The vessel groans
The ocean pressures its frame
To the port I see the lighthouse
Through the sleet and the rain
And I wish for one more day
To give my love and repay debts
The morning finds our bodies washed up thirty miles west

For the longest time ive been wanting to do something with these lyrics but i just have no idea what i would do or how i would go about it…

Telegram to Hip Hop:
Dear Hip Hop. (stop)
This shit has gone too far. (stop)
Please see that turntables and mixer are returned to Kool Herc. (stop)
The ghettos are dancing off beat. (stop)
The master of ceremonies have forgotten
that they were once slaves and have neglected
the occasion of this ceremony. (stop)
Perhaps we should not have encouraged them
to use cordless microphones, for they have
walked too far from the source and
are emitting a lesser frequency. (stop)
Please inform all interested parties that
cash nor murder have been included to list of elements. (stop)
We are discontinuing our current line
of braggadocio, in light of the current trend in “realness”. (stop)
As an alternative, we will be
confiscating weed supplies and
replacing them with magic mushrooms, in hopes
of helping niggas see beyond their reality. (stop)
Give my regards to Brooklyn.

I took this in my large format photography class a while ago. I reinterpreted it (from what i was taught in art hist) using my dad and my sister. On a side note i think that gun photographs really well. (well you cant tell with it this small but full scale it is really nice)

The Largest Carousel In The World

-And then there was the carousel.
-A sign proclaimed it was the largest in the world…

-“What’s it for?” asked Shadow. “I mean, okay, world’s biggest, hundreds of animals, thousands of lightbulbs, and it goes around all the time, and no one ever rides it.”
-“It’s not there to be ridden, not by people,” said Wednesday. “It’s there to be admired. It’s there to be.”
-“Like a prayer wheel goin’ around and round,” said Mr. Nancy. “Accumulating power.”
